OBAMAramaJuly 6, 4-7 pm

THANK YOU!

Thanks to your support, OBAMARAMA was a huge success!  54 T-shirts inspired by Barack Obama and designed by a diverse cross section of people young and old, ranging in age from four to ninety, were exhibited at the Hahn Ross Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico and over 1,000 people attended the July 6 event. More than 600 t-shirts sold, enabling Sprouts for Change to raise significant proceeds for Meds and Food for Kids.

Jill Cooper, wife of Rep. Tom Udall, spoke at the event, calling it “the most amazing grassroots movement” she’d seen in 30 years.  After she introduced the New Mexico Obama delegates from the 3rd  congressional district she presented each with an Obamarama  t-shirt to wear at the Democratic National Convention. Your participation demonstrated the collective impact we can have when we direct our creativity towards positive change.

The T-shirts can still be viewed and purchased  here online. Proceeds will benefit Meds and Food for Kids. In addition to being displayed on the Sprouts for Challenge virtual gallery, the exhibit will be traveling to Denver during the week of the Democratic Convention.
