Sprouts for Change

There are a number of ways to start participating in the Sprouts for Change project:

1. Make a T-Shirt

Submit your Obama inspired art to be featured in the Sprouts for Change online showcase, and we will then upload your design to our online gallery and convert it into a tee-shirt available for sale on our website.* All proceeds from tee-shirt sales go to Meds and Food for Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential services to the children of Haiti.  Select designs could even be featured in the upcoming Obamarama traveling art show.  Remember, the goal of the project is to showcase a range of art as diverse as Senator Obama’s supporters.  So don’t be shy – no design is too simple or complex.

Email -   Email your design in its actual size in a digital jpeg format with 300 dpi resolution to tomross@sproutsforchange.com. Maximum file size is 2MB.

Regular Mail - Mail your entry to Hahn Ross Gallery, 409 Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM 87501. Entries should be on a 8.5” x 11” piece of paper, painted or drawn with permanent media that will not smudge when placed in a scanner. If you would like your work returned, please include a SASE.

Once we receive your submission, Sprouts for Change will send you a waiver form to give the organization permission to use your art.  If you are under 18, this form will require a signature from a parent or legal guardian.

1. Make a Donation 

If you like what we’re doing, don’t hesitate to let us know through a financial contribution!  Donations will go to expanding the project to include additional communities, giving a creative outlet to aspiring artists around the country.  A donation of just $30 will sponsor an aspiring artist to participate in the Obamarama traveling exhibit.  And what better way to put that economic stimulus to good use than supporting the spread of artistic expression?

Unfortunately, due to the organization’s support of the Obama campaign, donations to the Sprouts for Change are not tax deductable at this time. 

1. Buy a T-Shirt

Pick out your favorite Sprouts for Change design, and you’ll help out the project in a number of ways, including by:

·       Supporting an aspiring artist

·       Displaying a creative expression of Senator Obama’s vision

·       Giving us free advertising

·       Contributing to Meds and Foods for Kids as they fight to meet the needs of Haitian children during the current food crisis

If you want to submit art to be considered as a contributing artist:
